Event:	Tazza di TTR
When:	October 11 - 13, 2024

Format:	This is a team event where each team consists of 2 men and 2 women. Teams will face each other in a round robin format according to skill level. Each match consists of 4 games: 1 men's doubles, 1 women's doubles and 2 games of mixed doubles.
Team Rating	Tazza will feature team groups with ratings from 3.0 to 4.5. Team rating will be based on the composit DUPR rating for all players on your team. Divisions are DUPR 12, 14, 16, & 18. Totals for each team must fall under 0.30 above the division. (12.30 total to play in 12)
Play Dates	Tazza will feature 2 days of play this year. Saturday the 12th is for teams where all team members are Over 50. Sunday the 13th will be open for any age, first come first serve! Play both days and receive a $100 discount on day 2.
Scoring:	Points are awarded according to wins and losses in each match of 4 games. Point differentials are also tracked to break potential ties.
Medal Matches	At the end of the Round Robin, the first and second place teams will face off in a shoot out for Gold. Unless the first place team is undefeated, in which case second and third shoot out for Silver. The shoot out is a game to 15, rally scoring, with players rotating every 5 points scored.
Awards:	Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
More fun:	Name your team - the more risque, the better! Create a team poster, and bring it Friday night to hang. "Best Poster" voting is done by all players - best poster wins a special prize. Wear matching uniforms, if you can! Best team uniforms win a special prize as well!
Friday Glow Pickleball:	Friday evening will be a social for all players - we light up 4 courts and enjoy several hours of Glow Pickleball! Bring snacks to share, or plan a trip up to the Wine Bar to add an extra level of fun!
Dinner - Saturday evening:	After play is done Saturday, we get together for the real fun of Tazza di TTR. The dinner party! Weekend players are all together tonight! First we hand out Saturday medals, reveal the vote winners for best team posters, then it is time for dinner, drinks, and dancing to a live band. Enjoy an evening of fun as we dance into the night!
Entry:	Cost per team - everything above included: $360 Registration is handled on a per team basis by the team captain. Currently taking reservations for all skill levels. However, 4.0 and 4.5 fill up fast so register early!
